Dental Work

Yearlings

• Dental exam every 6 months if weight loss or problems eating are noted.

Horses 2 to 7 years old

• Dental exam every 6 months
• Performance dentistry as needed

Horses 7 years and up

• Dental exam once a year
• Performance dentistry as needed.


Note
Horses with dental abnormalities may need more frequent evaluations and treatment.
