Emergency

A veterinarian is on call for urgent questions, farm calls, and intensive care from; 7am - 7 pm on week days, 8am - 2 pm on Saturdays, and 8am - 12pm Sundays. We will be closed during the Holidays. We will be referring calls after those hours to LSU Veterinary School or seeing cases the following day based on availability. Emergency services will be limited to horses only. Other species will be seen during regular business hours. We hope this is a temporary situation. We will organize a list and post it to our website of potential haulers for those of you without trailers. Through constant communication and careful scheduling, the veterinarian strives to ensure that every emergency is addressed in a timely and thorough manner. In the event of an emergency, we are prepared to help the horse and owner with prompt and professional service. Emergencies can be seen in the field or brought into the clinic depending on the level of emergency, location and client ease.
